Here we are again: the beginning of a new tier. With normal mode week finally over, we have our week one impressions of the new raid. Remember that these are first impressions, and only reflect the author’s opinions of week one of normal modes – take it for what you will. Also, due to the length of this article we have split it into two parts. This is Part I, click here for Part II.
We have some more Hearthstone gameplay footage for you! This time we enter the Arena and do some “draft” games. In this mode you are given 3 random classes to choose from, then you draft your deck through a series of steps. This will be considered the “ranked” game mode in hearthstone, as using real money to buy card packs has no bearing in the Arena.
That’s right, we’re back. Unfortunately, over the past few months we were not able to release content. We lost a few a authors, Lei Shen progress was killer, and summer time is busy. However, we are back and don’t plan on going anywhere. We will be providing the best class and encounter guides on the web starting in patch 5.4. Also, we will be bringing you the latest breaking news, theorycraft, audio and video content (yes, you heard that correctly), and more!
With some significant changes coming for Restoration Druids in 5.3, something is still missing: A Mushroom Rework. Not just a simple buff to healing done, an actual rework to make them feel less clunky. Let’s take a look at how they currently work, what is wrong with them and some suggestions on how to fix it.
With 5.3 on the horizon, I thought it was time to write about the expected Resto Druid changes. All of the changes will have a net positive effect on our healing (nothing is getting nerfed); however, are these buffs enough to make druids competitive with the other classes? In addition, please be aware that all the topics below are based on PTR patches, and thus can be changed or removed at any time. Pay attention to the date that this post was published and keep that in mind when reading. Also, I’m very interested in talking with the healing and druid community, so please comment below with your thoughts!
If any of you ever check out my stream, you’ll know I’ve been playing a lot of Neverwinter lately. On April 30th, Neverwinter’s open beta started, and it soon became Twitch.tv’s new “flavor of the month” for popular streamers. So, not wanting to miss out on the bandwagon, I downloaded the game. What do I think of it? Read on!
