Introduction

As I stated above, some of the gear choices come down to very little differences in stats mathematically. In addition, pay attention to which list you are reading below, as we have a few different ones.  Mythic Progression Best in Slot indicates your Best in Slot list for progression, taking gear competition and gear placement into consideration. Finally, the Absolute Best in Slot indicates your absolute Best in Slot list which disregards the competition and placement of the gear.

Mythic Progression Best in Slot

Once again, this Mythic Progression Best in Slot list is comprised of all non-warforged mythic gear.  The major difference between this list and a typical Absolute Best in Slot list is that we take gear location into consideration.  Nothing from the final mythic bosses is on this list, as it does not help you during mythic progression.  Additionally, some consideration is given to loot competition.  This is primarily the case for weapons and trinkets that caster DPS also use.  For your absolute best in slot list, review the following:

Above is the absolute best items for each slot of gear. There is no consideration of what boss each item drops from. Finally, we assume that all the items above that can be warforged, will be warforged.  Finally, we assume that this list is being used for once progression is over and “loot competition”, or stacking loot on certain roles, is no longer a concern.
