While surfing the WoW Community today I saw that our friends over at CTR had an interview with Zoomkins! They have a good chat about heroic raiding, how this tier has been, balance druids, and more! Very interesting interview, and we highly recommend it. Check it out below:
Some more great news from the PTR Dataminers! The map image for Isle of Giants has changed very slightly, however, very significantly. Take a look for yourself:
The first tier of druid talents is typically ignored by most PvE folk as a cookie cutter choice. Its obviously Feline Swiftness, right? Well, we think that is not always the case. To many more casual raiders, once they pick their talents, they more or less just keep them like that for the entire tier, not analyzing them on a fight by fight basis. Although you can get by with that strategy for normal modes, and some heroic encounters, you are just making it harder on yourself. Every fight you should look at your talents and glyphs, and take a few minutes to think if another talent or glyph would be strong on that particular fight due to mechanics present. The first tier of Druid talents is unfortunately one of the most overlooked tiers, in terms of changing based on the fight.
Welcome to World of Healcraft’s raid guide for the Magaera encounter in the Throne of Thunder instance! Please note, since we are primarily a healing resource website, the majority of the following will cover what healers need to do in this encounter (although we will cover the basics which effect all roles in the fight).
With 5.2 finally hitting the live servers, the theorycrafters here at World of Healcraft are going to be hard at work over the next week or two creating up-to-date 5.2 healing guides for all classes and specs. With 5.2 being the first tier for WoH covering from beginning to end, we are committed to making this a large period of growth for our resource website. So, if you have any comments, suggestions, or questions regarding our future or potential features, please comment below!
Awhile back I posted some 5.2 PTR footage from 25m normal mode testing, with the intention of editing in the final few bosses I have recorded in the near future. However, the past few weeks have been crazy, between slamming my head into Heroic Sha then 5.2 dropping! Although, I finally uploaded the Primordius and Dark Animus footage for those interested in seeing some PoV footage with strategy discussion with a Top 100 US Guild.
As I previously wrote about, I have been super busy with PTR raid testing and creating some solid video content for everyone! As of right now, I have several hours of trash, boss, and strategy footage. Currently, it is just raw footage with mumble audio included, nothing fancy. However, if there is enough interest for me to edit them into video guides, I’ll do it. So, let me know in the comment section if you are interested in that! Without further ado:
Welcome to World of Healcraft’s raid guide for the Jin’rokh the Breaker encounter in the Throne of Thunder instance! Please note that this guide was written during the 5.2 PTR test period, so everything you read below is subject to change! With that said, we will be updating this guide with each build of the PTR, and eventually when it is released on live servers. However, if you spot anything that appears to be false or outdated, please leave a comment below and we will fix it ASAP! Finally, since we are primarily a healing resource website, the majority of the following will cover what healers need to do in this encounter (although we will cover the basics which effect all roles in the fight).
It seems that 5.2’s “heroic only” boss (think Sinestra) will also have a cap on how many times he will devour your raid each week. Ra-Den will no longer respawn after the 30th attempt each raid lockout. Here is the official blue post about it:
